KBC 16: Amitabh Bachchan regrets inviting son Abhishek on show

Abhishek Bachchan is set to appear as the special guest on his father Amitabh Bachchan’s hit quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati 16. Abhishek will be promoting his new movie I Want To Talk. In a new promo, Amitabh seems to be second-guessing his decision for inviting his son on the show.
The official social media account of Sony Entertainment Television shared the promo on November 14, featuring Abhishek Bachchan in the hot seat opposite his father, Amitabh Bachchan.
Throughout the clip, Abhishek playfully teases the Sholay actor, mimicking his enthusiastic ‘Rs7 crore’ announcement whenever a contestant wins the grand prize on the show. He humorously adds that his father even shouts ‘Rs 7 crore’ during family meals. Amused but exasperated, Amitabh quips, “Galti kar di inko yahan bula ke (It was a mistake inviting him here).”

In the promo, Shoojit Sircar, the director of I Want To Talk, is also seen laughing among the studio audience. While this marks Shoojit’s first collaboration with Abhishek, he has previously worked with Amitabh Bachchan four times.
I Want to Talk also features Jayant Kriplani and Ahilya Bamroo, among others, in important roles. The screenplay and dialogues of the film is written by Ritesh Shah. Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar bankrolled the film. I Want to Talk is slated to hit the screens on November 22.
